Treatment of hormonal disorders

Everyone has heard the expression: “Do not be born beautiful, but be born happy.” I just want to add – and healthy. And health, first of all, depends on a balanced hormonal background, because this is a prerequisite for a healthy body.

Hormones are produced in many organs: thyroid and parathyroid glands, adrenal glands, ovaries (in women) and testes (in men), pancreas, hypothalamus, pituitary gland, etc.

A few decades ago, hormonal imbalances were rare. The modern rhythm of life leads to the fact that more and more people are faced with a pathological change in the hormonal background of the body.

Any changes in the hormonal background are reflected in the well-being of a person and his appearance. Most often they are characterized by:

  • thirst and dry mouth;
  • violation of the menstrual cycle in women;
  • a sharp change in weight;
  • the appearance of stretch marks on the skin;
  • vision problems;
  • the appearance of skin problems;
  • excessive hair growth;
  • sexual dysfunction.

In order to identify the hormonal changes in the body, it is necessary to contact an endocrinologist. The doctor will examine and send you the necessary blood tests. This is how hormonal disorders are detected. The drugs are selected strictly individually in each specific case – there are simply no universal treatment regimens. That is why, in no case is it unacceptable to self-medicate.
